listening to Leaving On A Jet Plane by Chantel Kreviazuk (oh how i feel like it)

keiko came back today. I missed you!

Inspite of the regular crap-overdose when she's around and the fact that she locked me out of my room just the other day by not returning my matric card, i quaintly missed her signature greeting holler ("Fellllliiiiiii....") which could be heard roughly a mile away as she scurried down the long wing corridor.

:D

made earrings with suzanne today, which was pleasant. suz, lets look for buyers, yo!

anyway, i'm very hungry and i'm not in a good mood now.

Was waiting for my supper order for TWO hours til i was so starved i couldnt take it anymore and gave huiqing a call. Apparently they got back an hour ago and conveniently forgot that Felicia exists in sheares hall block D, and left my order somewhere. When i went there to supposedly retrieve it, it was gone, presumably now in somebody else's stomach.
had a cup of cereal but that only contributed to excess pee and did nothing else. so there you have it. i really ought to stock up on food supplies, even if that means gone is my no-junk regime.

I'm a bit pissed, but what right have I, after all they offered the service merely out of the kindness of their hearts. so i shall just swallow the big lump, along with every other damned things that are bugging me now, and pretend they do not exist.

Holiday is a quarter gone. ackkk! As usual, i havent been bloggin for elephant years, nearly 3 weeks, one of the longest to date. Not that i've been busy, in fact things are pretty much relaxing and as a result, boring. Am involved in chingay dance and practices are 3-4 times a week, 4-5 hrs each.

it's just that sometimes i question what is the purpose of blogging. am i just opening unnecessary window to my soul as a mere visual feast for passerbys? perhaps they think they could guess what kind of life i'm living, what kind of thoughts run through my mind, what constitutes the fibres of my being. but then again, i dont feel the need to justify myself, for these are my thoughts, even though admittedly at times immortalising them in words complicate things. Because people pry, judge, and assume.

Some people blog for the sake of recording their daily happenings. But when i blog, a part of my heart goes out, because i feel for what i write. Or rather, i write what i truly feel.

If i may just post a very candid entry, i'm just very frustrated. Faces down the corridor, small talks and mundane hellos, people that walk in and out of my room (and life), so little i can call my own, so little i could turn to whenever i'm low.
I'm remotely irked, at how me and rudy used to gleefully picture our post-exam holidays and envisioned it to be the time to do more things together, rather than simply lunching in school, supper in hall, and see each other during weekends for church and cg. The truth is, i see him so much less now that it is the holidays, which is ironic, yet reality is such. Indeed, simple pleasures in life are mediocre but still the best nonetheless, ain't it? Afterall a relationship is about giving each other space, and we had already seen enough of each other in school. anyway we're going to malacca this weekend too.
was going to insert a "haha" here but decided against it cos i'm actually not really laughing. and you know me, i never say things if i dont mean it. I'm that literal a person, did you know? :)

And i hate how at the slightest mention of irritation, he gets worked up and acts as though the world is collapsing on us. This is probably the only time i'm ever going to agree with my pubescent 15 yr old little sister.

"You mean i'm not allowed to feeeeeeeeel?"

you may even insert a whine here.

because darling, i love you too much to upset you, but at this rate i may as well be a mute.

but now i'm just feeling as cold as frostie the snowman.

Was talking to gid the other day and i really missed being in the same cg as him, where he was always within reach and his counsel so reassuring and comforting. I missed being in JC, in year 1, where the three of us did everything together under the sun, where you were just a phone call or a few seats away in the classroom, or in briony's house. I can almost hear you saying, that you still are. but it's not the same. :)

I missed jo, how she always asked me how i was and made me feel so looked after.

I missed khala, during those times when we always stuck together like chopsticks in yr 2 during our NY days. Proximity really does matter, doesn't it? because now you just don't bother anymore. Though sadly i must say that i saw it coming.

and boys.. the only reason they treat you like a princess is because they have a crush on you. If you turn them down, no matter how politically-correct and courteous, gestures to stay in touch are foolishly futile, as though you are a plague they'd rather do without.

Female temperaments have never been felt so significantly in my life. I'm not sure if i should point fingers at the hormones, mood swings, or was it simply the wrong side of the bed.
so maybe i should just quietly retreat to a small corner, curl up and calm the raging emotions til it all passes away, lest i say some hurtful things unintentionally and give people unnecessary things to think about.

That said, the thought of making my blog private has been scampering about the maze that is my mind.

On to a happier note, CHRISTMAS is 12 days away! oh i absolutely adore christmas.

There is a magical feel to Christmas. Christmas makes every wrong feels right. Thank You, Jesus. :)

and oh, Yann Arthus-Bertrand is my new idol. His photos are so nice. :)
