mood pensive
listening to Where is your heart by Kelly Clarkson
Remnants of the whole house-moving buzz are still lingering. workers coming in and out, unfixed furnitures, woods falling off here, bathtub leaking there and the likes. My two smart monkeys, i mean dogs, actually managed the feat of squeezing themselves through the tiny spaces between the metal grills of the main gate. so we needed to stick some plastic board on it as well, to prevent them from roaming the streets free when noone is looking. Them sneaky pups.
The new house is presumably much comfier and slightly bigger than old one. we now actually have a big garden, complete with nice greens left my the owner, and a pond too, as compared to the barren grounds in the old place which was unable to bear any grass because the chickens kept munching on them. yes, so you could have guessed, the chickens didnt get to move along with us to the new place.
so having a garden is actually interesting. now, other than over pots of cooking vegetables or stew, during commercial breaks or perhaps while lazing on the bed, me and my mum can occasionally catch up on one another while plucking weeds too! like today.
on to something completely off tangent, i'm missing some old days. sigh.
