streching. stretching. stretching.

It's been an exhausting week. went for all three nights of conferences in church and stayed throughout for svc 4-6 today, which was awesome. Pst Phil's preaching impacted me a great deal, it was like having a spiritual bath. indeed, one day in the house of God is better than a thousand days in the world!

today, in between sermons Pst Phil was making some jokes about how husbands tend to buy their wives things which they themselves want their wives to have (think slimming package), not what their wives really want.

"What your wives want are diamond rings!

and all the wives say?"

and i just unconsciously echoed an amen together with some hundred odd housewives, before i nearly choked on my amen and tried hard to stop myself from guffawing my way out of my embarrassing predicament. and i swear i suddenly acquired a third eye that could read thought bubbles. and the thought bubbles of wangfang sitting beside me read,

" !!???!! "

anyways, slept only at 4am this morning and had to chop-chop get ready for church at 7.30am. moments like those... i secretly wished a fairy godmother will appear just like how she did cinderella, and save me the hassle of mix-matching my tops and bottoms. not that i have a lot to choose from. what a disgrace to vanity.

My my.. i don't remember myself being so intellectual when i was young. If i had had to answer that kind of question then, i'll probably say something like,

Love is when two people get married and make babies.

or

Love is when cookie monster finally shares his cookies with somebody. which isn't quite likely.

or

i'll probably shrug and say i don't know. and that i dont think i'll ever be in love cos i just don't see it.

or something morbid or outright stupid along that line, you get the idea.
