mood agonised

gone. for good.

Everything is there for a reason. So why on earth did God create wisdom teeth? not that they make us wiser. so WHY???

i removed one of mine today. that little miserable piece of thing was growing sideways, being very problematic and basically just being a total pain the the neck and therefore off, it had to go.

if anyone tells you that removing a wisdom tooth is no big deal, he is LYING. it was a complete agony. and i have absolutely no idea how divyan is gonna remove four of his in one go. dude, i suggest you meditate on it a day or two. you are SO going to regret it.

The surgery itself wasn't all that bad, in fact it was the breeziest part of the whole emotional mayhem. The anaesthesic jabs were disgusting. When you've got a cavity the doc would normally just give you a jab and after that momentarily sting it was al finito.
but today, i had to stomach in total about seven jabs. He was just happily pricking and jabbing away and i am telling you, my gum literally felt like a glob of jelly, you know, like you cut it, prick it and it still retains in shape but it is in fact already cut all over.
i swear i could feel the needles penetrating my gum, over and over and over and over. it was absolutely grotesque.
but after a while the numbness sets in and the subsequent jabs were not as bad.

so the whole of my right jaw was practically dead. you could have hit a tennis ball across that area of my face and i wouldn't feel a thing. the dentist was just working away with my tooth, pushing, pulling, pinching, and occasionally i heard "crack" sounds.
He could have been turning me into a cyclop or planted microchips in my gum and i wouldn't know.

and then, he started humming. and i went antsy all over again. it's either my surgery is getting very complicated that he had to hum to calm himself, or it was such a bore that he had to find entertainment. in the form of humming. what song i dont know. i might have been Pink Panther.
when it was over, the dentist asked if i wanna keep my tooth. i mumbled an "Eeee..." and i think he got my point. it was so difficult to talk when you can't feel half your jaw.

and the worst, worst, worst part was after i walked out of the clinic and was on my way back. The anaesthesia was wearing off and it started to throb really bad, while i still had a cotton ball resting in my mouth to stop the bleeding, looking like a chipmunk. I straightaway downed 2 painkillers the moment i was back and then changed the cotton and went to bed. oh did i mention that sterilised cotton tastes disgusting? especially if it has a lot of blood in it.

When i woke up a while ago and proceeded to the toilet to change it again, the moment i took it out the stupid cotton piece was a disgusting shade of red and all soaked in blood. I promptly broke into a cold sweat, was near fainting and clumsily rushed back to my room to lie on the bed. it was horrible.
It may have been because i hadn't eaten anything proper the whole day too, but all in all i just cannot stand blood. Some people have asked me why i didn't apply for a medicine course, so can you just imagine what kind of complete chaos and hullabaloo the operating theatre would be in if i get to perform surgeries? no, wait. dont imagine. gives me shudders just thinking about all the bloodied mess. *knees go weak again*

my most sincere apology if any of you happen to have a coming wisdom tooth removal surgery. i hope i haven't given you any nightmares.

It was not that bad.

really.
