hooked on to: the stillness of the library

Zoomed straight to science library after my organic chem lecture with my lapdog. i mean laptop. this is it. i shall resolve never to go back to hall anymore after lecture cos chances are, the beckoning bed always proves to be too much of a temptation. 2 hours down the drain. always. you evil bed.
so i mugged lunchtime away together with stella the genius, who finished her tutorial in an hour and is already getting fidgety. *looks at her*
i managed to finish my marketing group assignment. well sorta. praise the Lord!
see garrett, i am not a complainer. haha.

i am an unhealthy sleeper. been getting headaches so often nowadays, and it's always during unopportune moments like while typing away on my lapdog a few minutes ago, that it hit me. the kind like in cartoon shows where you have a bird that hits a tree and you see stars spinning around its head. the only difference is that i did not hit a tree.

Went to see my mum yesterday and we had a discussion about my aussie plans, which sadly have to be shelved for now, lest i want to be an inconsiderate whiner who doesn't mind draining my family resources to go the the land of the free while my folks survive on breads. i never thought i would have to be one who would have to slog my way through university doing a course i don't really enjoy. i never thought i would have to compromise on my temporal happiness academics-wise due to circumstantial disadvantages. but His ways are higher than my ways and His thoughts higher than my thoughts. so i pray that in these 2 years while i attempt not to lose my sanity in NUS, He will pull me through, take my hand and speak new visions into my life. For everything happens for a reason indeed, and to live life in obedience is never not a sacrifice.

i have many things to say, but i would have to shut up now cos i'm hungry and i have a lecture to attend in half an hour's time. *growl*
