mood: capsized
hooked on to: everlasting love by Jamie Cullum

blogging has become an increasingly draggy affair. why do i have to overcome so much inertia in the simple quest of dissecting the mind-heart-soul trio and spilling whatever is inside the melting pot of thoughts and emotions. beats me.

i'm so very tired. and to say that it is purely physical, albeit true, would be a half truth which cannot be further from the whole truth.

oh Lord, grant me the strength to run with endurance and faith the race that You've set before my eyes. Long the road may be, Your love is unfailing, Your grace never runs dry.

I completely forgot about my EN1101 lecture at 8am this morning and stupidly and incorrectly thought that it was 10am until lydia dragged me back to earth from dreamland by the means of a morning phone call.

"Where are you?"

me: ...

and then the realisation hit. And while deciding whether to slit my wrist or wring my neck and suppressing the urge to scream into my pillow, i managed to think rationally and figured that the first lecture normally doesn't cover much anyway, other than the lecturer's attempted humour to coerce gullible students into believing that they've gotten themselves an easy module, or their dry jokes and silly introduction which includes family photos, pet photos and a thorough and concise traceback of his family history.
nothing much to miss, not mentioning the fact that i wouldn't be able to rush there on time anyway, in my state then. think bad hair day, puffy eyes, migraine, an empty stomach, disappearance of appetite and an unpacked bag.

boy, i'm good at consoling myself, am i not?

so i went back to sleep. after finding out that i had cramps too.

had hockey training in the afternoon. now i'm feeling as nua as a jellyfish and my appetite seems to have completely abandoned me for the time being. Therefore my stomach feels empty and flat. which calls for a celebration. yay.

somebody save me.
