mood: ...
hooked on to: Right here waiting by Richard Marx.

maybe i should just do away with the mood indicator line on top since most of the time i hardly know what is my mood for the moment. do feel free to come and analyse.
i got my confirmation mail from NUS residential services quite a while ago. so it seems that i've gotten myself a place at the hostel. sheares hall. yay!
hopefully it'll turn out to be a good experience. anyway, i'll probably turn out to be the only dork who will need to haul a mountain-high worth of belongings to squeeze into the tiny room. the rest of the lucky singaporeans probably just need to bring a luggage or two leaving the rest of their stuff back home sweet home. better still, they can just take a bus or train down & haul them back at their convenience. sure i can do that too, if not considering the fact that home is an ocean and a few thousands islands away.
sheesh, now i'm getting really really envious.

hmmm.. wonder how their laundry system is like.

watched a beautiful mind on dvd (or is it vcd?) a few days ago. yeah, i know most of my news are boring and not to mention outdated. i forgot to blog, alright? ok, honest. i was too lazy to blog.
and cant do anything about the boring part. my life's as exciting as an elephant's remember? scroll down.
social life, zero. absolutely nil.
baked brownies 2 days ago though! nice! i'm not kidding you. ask my bro and sis.
*shoots dagger looks at them*

*siblings nod in agreement*

see, i told you. recipe anyone? :D

anyway, before i digressed, was saying that i watched a beatiful mind.
it was such a fantastic (albeit old) show.. about a genius mathematician, a nobel prize winner John Nash who battled with schizophrenia. and a wife who stuck by him through it all.
now dont go awwwww on me. it wasnt at all sweet, mushy or romantic in a teenie-bopping kind of way.
it was real. and a true story bytheway. and it forces one to look at reality eyeball to eyeball. how much would you genuinely do for the one you truly said you love? or will reality find you questioning what exactly is the definition of love you thought you knew all along. deviated as one puts it.
i pray that when the time comes i wont fall victim to the latter.

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." _1 John 4:18
