alrightie!
been ages since i last blogged. anyways, watched the Passion of the Christ on saturday. all i can say after the movie is...

*speechless*

cried dunno how many hundred times in the movie.
i guess it's different with everyone. as bloody and gory as some may think, what struck me and touched me the most was how "human" Jesus seemed. He got scared, upset, yet in the end He took it all. Seeing the Word being portrayed in flesh in a movie like that, it sets a lot of things in place. it all seemed so real. & the most important part of it all isnt that He died on the cross. but that He went through it ALL for us. for you and I.

"...He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised by our iniquities, ...And by His stripes we are healed." _Isaiah53:3_

Anyways! as usual, went for svc on sunday & it was great! after which me & gideon went off to orchard to meet our ex-classmates, before which we met up with monica and jingshun for a while. convinced monica to walk with us all the way from orchard mrt to somerset mrt since me & gideon were going to cineleisure. eh! what are girlfriends for! haha..and the highlight of the day is...

khala turned up! *blows balloons* haha! fooled her into believing that i wouldnt be going and her reaction was hilarious i tell you. but then again in the end we didnt do anything much, just sat down & talked. the others ended up not watching Hidalgo cos me & gideon werent really up to another movie session. our pockets too.

tried to ask them to watch the movie without us anyhow but in the end they didnt. so.. feel guilty..
had gelato at taka basement & it was yummy! haha.

on a more personal note, was utterly disgusted & put off by this particular incident. like get a life. i guess i have nothing against this in general but in this case, it just does not seem right. honestly dont know what's the problem here but if it really is what i'm thinking then God.. i'm speechless. but maybe i'm thinking too much. yeah..
